Objectives:

To prepare an outline for a university paper
To research topics effectively and accordingly
To document information properly
To use the appropriate elements of style and language for academic writing purposes

Outcomes:

To help students understand the necessary elements of and academic requirements for writing at a University level and develop the research skills, organizational systems, and brainstorming techniques to synthesize information and enable successful work.

Additional Comments:

Note: This is a required seminar for all certificate and diploma students who do not hold an undergraduate degree.
