Professional Edge Seminars
One day can make a difference. UWDCE Professional Edge Seminars offer in-depth training that is tightly focused on specific subjects. One- or two-day seminars are open to everyone and are an affordable way to add to the participants' knowledge adn skills with a minimal investment of time and money.
Led by industry experts, each seminar is designed to give the learner a specific skill set and the ability to accomplish specific tasks. From team building to proposal writing to finding the perfect balance between work and life, Professional Edge Seminars are hands-on, interactive and highly effective. Whether students are upgrading their skills or rounding out their knowledge in a diploma or certificate program, UWDCE Professional Edge Seminars will give them high-demand skills that are portable and marketable.

Additional Comments
In order to meet the graduation requirements for each program (excluding Professional Designations) students must complete five one-day seminars or a combination of one- and two-day seminars totaling 35 hours.*
*Note: The University Writing and Research seminar is a required Professional Edge Seminar for all certificate and diploma students who do not hold an undergraduate degree.
