Management Certificate Program

The Management Certificate Program is designed for individuals who want to develop their professional skills and further their career.  It prepares them to take on management and leadership roles in their organization.

  • To provide instruction and essential skills training necessary for success in today's competitive market

Outcomes: 

  • Understanding of the major principles of business management and their interrelationships
  • Familiarity with key concepts of organizational behaviour and the behaviour of individuals and groups in organizations
  • Effective oral and written communication, both interpersonal and team related
  • Effective problem-solving techniques

Articulation for Credit: 

Graduates of the Management Certificate Program may be eligible for equivalent course credits towards an undergraduate degree at The University of Winnipeg.

Required Courses

Elective Courses

Completion of two of the following courses (72 hours total)

PROFESSIONAL EDGE SEMINARS

Completion of five one-day seminars or a combination of one- and two-day seminars (35 hours total)

Note: The University Writing and Research seminar is a required Professional Edge seminar for all certificate and diploma students who do not hold an undergraduate degree.
