Objectives

This course will teach the student how to create and edit Web pages by hand, using the current instustry standard of XHTML (eXtensible HyperText Markup Language) 1.0 Transitional markup

Outcomes

Ability to identify and edit older Web pages that use deprecated HTML code
Ability to create and edit new Web pages using XHTML 1.0 Transitional markup
Ability to identify and fix common markup syntax, logic and style problems

Prerequisites

For Web Design Certificate Students: Web Design Level 2: Web Design Principles or equivalent
For Web Development Diploma Students: Programming Technologies 1.1 and Unix Adminstrator Level 1 or equivalent
