Prerequisites

Programming Technologies Level 1.1: Introduction to Programming and Software Development

Objectives: 

  • Students will learn about digital graphics in general, how to use the program interface and tools and save files for display on Web pages

Outcomes: 

  • Ability to create, edit, and save Photoshop files for use on the Web
  • Ability to identify and choose appropriate digital graphic formats
  • Understand differences between compression formats
  • Understand differences between raster bitmap and vector graphics
  • Organize raw Photoshop files in organized layers
  • Develop a block composite mockup of a Web site for clients
