This course examines the functions and limitations of network layer protocols and design issues of the TCP/IP Network Layer protocols.

Objectives

  • To provide understanding of standard protocols used in local and wide-area networks

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Discuss how network communication relates to network configuration, and
  • Administrate DNS, DHCP interactivity.
