Objectives: 

  • During this course students will learn fundamental game design techniques by working in teams to develop a prototype
  • Students will critically evaluate games from different genres and develop an understanding of the basic elements of game play, such as balancing, risk versus reward, and engagement
  • Students will also document game design using a game design document
